Join us in November for two talks to accompany finds from the Anglo-Saxon palace at Rendlesham now on display at Ipswich Museum.
Thursday 10th November – ‘The Golden Triangle: Rendlesham, Sutton Hoo and Ipswich’: join Philip Wise of Colchester and Ipswich Museums Service as he delves into the Anglo-Saxon world that created Ipswich, Sutton Hoo and Rendlesham, and considers the relationship between these three important sites.
Thursday 24th November – ‘Rendlesham & The Kingdom of East Anglia’: join Dr Tim Pestell, curator of archaeology at Norwich Castle Museum, as he considers the role played by Rendlesham in the development of the kingdom of East Anglia and wider Anglo-Saxon England.
Both talks run from 7pm – 9pm, and take place at Ipswich Museum, High Street, Ipswich, IP1 3QH.
Tickets are £6.60 (including booking fee) in advance / £7.50 on the door.
